The approach

Armoured and reinforced

An armoured door is a single unit of frame and leaf with a steel plate; a reinforced one adds steel to a timber door. They differ a lot in price and in security level, and we'll explain which is worth it for you.

External aluminium or uPVC doors

For villas and doors opening straight to the outside: thermally broken, with an insulated panel and ironmongery treated against the salt.

A clean installation

The old door comes out, the new one goes in plumb, gets sealed, and the frame is made good. The house is never left without a door: it's done in a day.

What does
a front door cost?

We won't quote a price per metre without seeing the job, because we'd be making it up. We visit, we measure and we give you a fixed, itemised quote. It depends on:

The price you accept is the price you pay. Anything added later is agreed with you before it's done.

The type: armoured, reinforced, or external in aluminium or uPVC
The size of the opening and the condition of the frame
The finish inside and out
The lock and the number of locking points
Whether the old door needs removing and taking away

Made in the workshop

Cut and assembled in El Verger, to the measurements taken at your property. We let you know as soon as it's ready to fit.

Fitting and adjustment

We strip out and remove the old unit, fit the new one plumb and sealed, and adjust the ironmongery: it opens, it closes, it doesn't catch and it doesn't let draughts through.

What people ask us
before we start.

A reinforced door is a timber door with a steel sheet added inside. An armoured door is a single block: leaf and frame in one piece of steel, with a subframe that wraps the opening. The armoured one is considerably more secure and more expensive; for a flat on an upper floor it sometimes isn't worth it, and we'll say so.
No. The swap is done the same day: the old one comes out, the new one goes in, and it's closing and locking before we leave.
No. Outdoors and near the sea, the ironmongery and the finish have to be treated, or within a few years you get corrosion in the hinges and the lock. It's where going cheap shows up fastest.
If the door itself is sound and it's the locking that's failing, yes: the cylinder or the whole lock can be changed without touching the leaf.
